I recently stayed at a guest house in a great location for exploring local tourist sites in a city center. The room I had was small but clean and cosy, with a good size shower in the en suite. The bed was very comfortable and I had a peaceful night's sleep. The highlight for me was the breakfast, with a fantastic spread including a delicious fresh fruit salad. It was the perfect way to start the day!
All was fine.

The hotel was clean, with well-appointed rooms and everything in working order. The breakfast was delicious and nicely laid out. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The location was strategic, with easy access to main tourist areas, a short walk to the Royal Mile and straight to the Botanical Gardens.
It was all superb.
